Modelo x Houston Texans Activation

‍Tasked with designing a comprehensive brand activation for Modelo's Houston Texans partnership, I created a vintage-inspired tattoo parlor experience where fans could receive temporary tattoos featuring Modelo and Texans branding. The concept centered on a bold, ornate logo capturing the aesthetic of classic American tattoo shop signage with intricate flourishes and decorative typography.  I designed the "Modelo Tattoo Studio Houston Texans" lockup featuring gold leaf ornamental details and traditional tattoo-style lettering that honored both brands. This logo anchored one of two 10x10 foot backwall designs I developed, which featured custom Modelo blue wooden panel textures. A Modelo and Houston Texans lockup commanded the opposite wall, creating an immersive branded environment.

To extend the activation beyond the tattoo parlor, I designed custom football jerseys and matching jersey-shaped koozies. The jerseys featured Modelo's branding on navy blue with gold and white accent stripes on the sleeves, while the koozies maintained the navy blue base with Modelo branding in a simplified jersey silhouette. This cohesive merchandise collection became a popular fan giveaway.

All assets were built in Illustrator to maintain crisp vector details at large scale. The activation debuted at the Texans' season opener.
